Loyalty....by Ann Taylor

This is a video that depicts loyalty.  Pure, blind loyalty.  For those who know me, you know loyalty is a treasured quality.  My parents taught us loyalty is one of the most important characteristics a person can have.  If you think about what loyalty means, you can understand why loyalty is considered a GOOD trait.  It means you stand by your friends when nobody else is there for them.  When someone you care about doesn't have anyone there for them--YOU are there.  It doesn't matter if it's a big problem they are dealing with or a little problem; if you're loyal you are there through thick and thin for your friends.

Loyalty to friends seems to have become a lost concept--that is very sad.  So, if you know anyone that needs a visual of what loyalty to a friend is--show them this video.  If a picture is worth a thousand words, this video is worth a billion!

  1. Wow Great video Ann thanks. It is hard to find people that are loyal in a day and age when most people will stab their brother/sister in the back.

Loyalty can also be a bad thing though I think it has played a part in some of the problems in EG.

  2. Jim---I don't disagree with you which is why I qualified it as "pure, blind loyalty". Pure, blind loyalty means you look for nothing in return. You are a friend that is there for your friend when he/she needs support. You are not seeking a repayment--you are there when the chips are down for your friend.
That video empowers everything that is good about loyalty--pure loyalty.

  3. I totally agree Ann. Purity is a great word in defining loyalty. A pure heart wishes only what is best for everyone.

Jim, I appreciate your last comment. I and many others have the feeling that loyalty in EG Govt., may not be what is best for all EG residents. We want all elected officials to rise up, and govern with a firm foundation of PURE ethical standards.

I appreciate the Ethics Board and all they have done to draft a good Ethics Code. Sadly, we have board members who take issue with the current Ethics Draft. I say the bar has been raised and should not be lowered to meet the satisfaction of certain individuals.

Uncompromising loyalty to every taxpayer is all we ask for. A Pure, undiluted Ethics Code, is a reasonable request from any tax payer in my opinion.

We could learn a lot from that beautiful dog in that video. Ann, I sure we all learn soon. Best wishes to you and your family. Bonnie L.
