"Hope and Change"--what it REALLY means

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=zi15OtKquD0

This video says it all.

While many of us are working 2, and possibly 3 jobs, is this REALLY the "Hope and Change" Obama was preaching about?  Did those who believed in "Hope and Change" think so many people would be forced to work 2 or 3 jobs just make the bare minimum monthly expenses?  Did those who believed in "Hope and Change" think so many would fall prey to the need for food stamps?  Did those who believed in "Hope and Change" think the deficit would raise to the highest levels in history?  Did those who believed in "Hope and Change" think the unemployment rate would reach record highs?

Have to be honest...if this is "Hope and Change"......it's better to be HopeLESS and Stagnant.

  1. Good job of putting that together. I didn't fall for his Hope And Change B.S. the first time and I still haven't fallen for it this time. Lets hope he doesn't get voted back in and change the way he has shaped the US.

The worst part is lots of people still believe his horse and pony show.

  2. I also didn't fall for it. The change is more debt. His no good Obama Care.
It was said today that he has spent more money then the last five Presidents.
Just like this majority board. The only board members that I know of that think that the taxpayers are suppose to put up with the overflow of bull$hit and keep paying.

  3. The President cannot enact laws, Congress does that. Obama wasted his capital on health care when he should've been more focused onthe economy and jobs.

By the time he got his stimulus package through Congress it was too little, too late.

Now Congress blocks him every step of the way. See

  4. Anon 6/6@6:49--You may want to peruse this link http://www.newsmax.com/Newsfront/obama-stimulus-fewer-jobs/2011/11/23/id/419003

When OBama's "stimulus package" is worth the money spent maybe the GOP won't block it. When Nan Pelossi stops believing more people on food stamps leads to a boost in the economy maybe the Senate GOP can take OBama and his band of merry spenders seriously. Lest we forget, OBama ranks number one as the President who has spent the most...he broke a record in his first year, http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009/11/24/obama-shatters-spending-record-year-presidents/......OUCH!

The private sector small business owner should not be forced to pay the salaries and benefits listed in this link. $75/hr, health and pension is a bit much to ask the small business owner trying to stay afloat because the stimulus package wouldn't do a thing for him if his business went under, and quite frankly it shouldn't. When the unions stop pressing demands on companies and begin to realize they already have well beyond what many workers have they won't need stimulus packages from the American taxpayers. Unions were needed in their day but now, they are breaking the backs of the companies and the public unions are breaking the backs of the taxpayers.

  7. What about hope and change for east greenbush? Rt 9&20 looks like a dump, to be honest. Weeds growing from sidewalks, businesses closing, and where's the nice flowers in the median by the true value light? Who can help with this?
